'' I Am, A Harness racing horse''

I have been in production of a new TV show for the last 6 months , a show that I am going to call '' I am,  A Harness racing horse ''.

My two TV shows ( 2005, 2006) was built on my ideas and my experience of Harness racing for 24 years and how to  ,  bring back the interest of the Harness racing sport to the people of USA.

I produced '' A Real Desire for A Dream '' in 2005, a TV show showing the world how one can get lucky buying a harness racing horse for not a lot of money , just like winning the lottery and  , as we all know Real Desire went on to win millions of dollars on the track and then was sold as a stallion for more millions of dollars securing a familys future .
This show was selected for the equine grammies in France , the show  did not win any awards but only 45 films out of 245 films was selected for finals and ''A Real Desire for A Dream'' was one of them .
 I did go to France for this festival and was able to enjoy all the films selected, I looked and listened and learnt a lot from watching a wide variety of equine films being shown over the course of three days .

In 2006 I produced '' Inside the Heart of Harness racing '' a show built on three different aspects of Harness racing . The first aspect was to show how much care and thought goes into getting a harness racing horse to the races , I filmed Passionate Glide throughout her training during fall, winter and spring to show how she finally made it to the qualifying races .I knew that the the public was not aware of how much work goes into  that horse before it sets it's feet on the track to go to post.

 The second aspect was to show how one standardbred harness horse can be used for other purposes as well after done racing , this was an excellent piece showing the beautiful standardbred horse after racing.
 I knew the public is concerned about the wellfare of animals and that people outside our sport does not like the fact that '' we are using our horses only for money '' and then we throw them out .

The third and last aspect of this film was to show the influx of the casinos and how it has affected our sport in a positive way bringing in purse money . With help of Tioga Downs , an excellent track of marketing of our sport with it's beautiful grand stand , paintings and prize winning food suppliers .

"' Inside the Heart of Harness racing ""  was a show where I packed in a lot of information about Harness racing in 23 minutes.

This show was also selected for the equine grammies in France , but I could not go . This show did not win any awards either , but again out of 200 some films , 45 was selected  and '' Inside The Heart Of Harness racing '' was one of them.

 As you may know now or not , I invested my heart , my finances and all my experience of Harness racing , into a TV project in 2008  that could have been an opportunity for Harness racing to bring back audience and interest to our sport  . This TV project was my brain child and , and if done the way I had planned it , it could have been a huge success.

Now instead the people that I teamed up with to make this project a reality , these people  brought dishonesty , ill production skills and fraud into the project .

I faught for honesty for over 5 months .
I got very ill from seeing what was happening to a project that I invested my whole life into .

I was forced into bankruptcy as I did not get paid for my work.

Now instead of working with my horses , film and photography ,  I had to visit attourney offices, doctors , courts , places that I now would meet '' normal''  people , who did not know Harness racing, I started to ask questions to people that I met . What is harness racing ?

I got to understand that people dont know who we are and they really dont want to know who we are either as they are too busy with other things.
One thing I did find out was the concern of people what we do to our horses behind the scenes , I found out that if people could watch a show on what is happening to  Harness racing horses on a daily basis , there might be a chance they would go and see a race or two.

What I learnt from talking to people I now took and started to shoot , a story of succesful moments in a daily life of a Harness racing horse.

Simple questions about our horses and what they do on a daily basis may seem silly and childish to all of us that work inside Harness racing , but  

These simple questions are all real questions to people who don't know us .

These questions and more I am answering in this new show with my very best of  photography , production and  filming , 

 I am putting it all together in '' I am , a Harness racing horse ''
